NAT'L ASSN OF FARM BROADCASTING FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES ITS SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) reports:

Platte City, MO -- The National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) Foundation is pleased to announce that it has awarded its 2025 college scholarships, totaling $47,500, to six students studying agriculture communications.

The students will attend and be recognized for their achievements at a special NAFB Foundation Celebration Luncheon on Nov. 19, 2025, during the NAFB Convention in Kansas City.

This investment to cultivate the next generation of farm broadcasters and ag communicators is made possible through the generous support of corporate donations, booster club contributions and funds raised at our annual auction at convention.

Since its inception in 1977, the foundation has funded more than $1 million in agriculture student scholarships and internship grants.

Receiving the 2025 scholarships are:

•Morgan Anderson, Amanda, OH, Ohio University (Jack Farmakis Scholarship presented by J.L. Farmakis, Inc.)

•Jacie Ambrose, St. Paul, NE, University of Nebraska-Omaha (Robert E and Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation Scholarship)

•Maci Carter, Caledonia, OH, Oklahoma State University (John Deere Scholarship)

•Ella Stiefvater, Salem, SD, South Dakota State University (Orion Samuel Scholarship sponsored by CME Group, Inc.)

•Cortney Zimmerman, Spencer, WI, Oklahoma State University (Grow Smart Scholarship presented by BASF)

•Chloe Zittergruen, Keswick, IA, Iowa State University (Cyndi Young Scholarship)

The NAFB Foundation is a critical component of NAFB, working to keep the quality and viability of the farm broadcasting profession and the ag communications industry at the highest level. In addition to student scholarships and internship grants to participating farm radio stations and networks, the foundation also supports NAFB continuing education plus marketing and research activities.
