Source: National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) We're excited to launch the NAMA Mentoring Program -- a long-requested initiative to connect emerging ag professionals with seasoned industry leaders. The goal is to build meaningful connections that support growth and strengthen the ag industry. Today we're inviting you to become a NAMA mentor! Mentorship is a powerful way to give back, build meaningful relationships and help shape the future of ag. YOU can make a lasting impact on someone's personal and professional journey! The first round of mentors will be paired with attendees from this year's NAMA Boot Camp, pairing up individuals especially invested in growing in their ag career! Here's what you can expect as a mentor: Time commitment: Mentors typically spend 1-2 hours per month talking to their mentee, and about an hour per month engaged with easy-to-follow ongoing mentor education and support. Location: Anywhere! Mentors connect with their mentees either over video call or phone call. Benefits to mentors: You'll have the chance to share your story, offer guidance, and help open doors for emerging ag professionals. Along the way, you'll get to strengthen your own leadership skills, gain new perspectives and take pride in making a lasting difference for someone. What support will I have?: Mentors will be fully supported along the way! With access to e-learning modules, videos, training sessions and other resources, the program ensures both mentors and mentees have the right tools for success.
