FENDT/AGCO WINS 2025 SHOWSTOPPER AWARD AT MAGIE FOR AIRMAX PRECISION F1/F2

By Eric Sfiligoj. CropLife magazine

Since 2007, one of the highlights of every Midwest AG Industries Exposition (MAGIE) for the Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association and CropLife IRON magazine has been awarding the ShowStopper Award. And in 2025, this trophy given to the product that attendees consider "best in show" went to a company that has notched several showstopping wins over the years.

For 2025, the ShowStopper Award trophy went to Fendt/AGCO Corp. of Duluth, GA, for its new AirMax Precision F1/F2 system. This new offering from the long-standing ag retail equipment manufacturer made its formal market debut at the 2025 MAGIE and attendees agreed it was a great example of new dry fertilizer spreading technology for the market.

"We are really excited to get the ShowStopper Award for the AirMax Precision F2 box we brought to the show," said Tanner Lund, Senior Marketing Specialist - Application Equipment for AGCO. "We think it's a great system for customers to increase productivity and precision at the same time."

Myriad Key Features

According to Lund, Fendt/AGCO made several upgrades to the AirMax Precision F1/F2 system. These include increasing the boom length from 70 feet on previous models to 90 feet, allowing for greater coverage. There are also two control chains - one left, one right - to help the system move product through the booms.

"And we increased the number of section controls for the AirMax Precision F2 from two to four," he added. "In our field studies, this helped the system reduce overlaps by up to 50%."

Another important feature of the AirMax Precision F1/F2 system is the addition of a back-up camera. "We've started including this feature on all of our machines for safety reasons," said Lund.

For potential customers, Lund said that the AirMax Precision F1/F2 system will be available for the company's TerraGators model numbers 8300, 8400, and 9300C. "If you want more information, please visit terragator.com or talk with your local Fendt/AGCO dealership," he said.
