KUHN LAUNCHES FOUR NEW PRODUCTS FOR LIVESTOCK AND CROP PRODUCERS

Source: KUHN news release

Brodhead, WI -- KUHN North America announced that it has launched two new crop production products and two new livestock products to benefit producers across North America.

Manure spreader

KUHN introduced the new KUHN Knight SLC 200 Series ProTwin Slinger commercial manure spreaders, featuring rugged construction, superior material breakup and reliable performance in the toughest conditions. Engineered to handle heavy, sand-laden manure and the widest variety of materials, the SLC 200 Series builds on KUHN's proven ProTwin Slinger technology for unmatched versatility and durability.

Available in both truck-mount and trailer configurations, these spreaders offer capacities from 3,200 to 5,000 gallons to fit a range of operations. They deliver fast unloading and superior material breakup -- ensuring consistent, even spreading and maximum productivity.

Exclusive V-body construction eliminates bridging for smooth material flow, while the wide 18-hammer discharge improves material breakup and speeds up unloading. A fully enclosed, heavy-duty drive system reduces maintenance and extends component life, and independent auger protection safeguards critical components against overloads and obstructions. The KUHN Knight SLC 200 Series spreaders are now available through authorized KUHN dealers across North America.

Mixer

The new KUHN Knight RC 300 Series is the latest advancement in KUHN mixer technology, building on a long-standing reputation for heavy-duty performance and exceptional quality mixing with low horsepower requirements. With capacities from 500 to 950 cu. Ft., these mixers offer high-quality mixing, now enhanced with upgrades that improve durability, simplify maintenance and enhance operator convenience.

Available in trailer, truck and stationary models, the RC 300 Series is built to withstand demanding use. Well-suited for dairies, feedlots and a wide range of industrial feeding environments, it delivers consistent, reliable results across diverse applications, helping producers meet today's challenges with confidence.

The RC 300 Series continues to feature KUHN's patented Helix® Reel open-center reel, delivering smooth feed flow and consistent mixing for rations with high roughage or distillers grains. This efficient reel-and-auger system reduces power draw, saving fuel and lowering horsepower requirements without sacrificing mix quality.

New enhancements include improved wiper design, upgraded truck drive components, refined hydrostatic controls and better hose and scale management on trailer models. Important mixer parts have been improved based on years of experience, as have truck mounting features to further boost reliability and ease of service. Expanded options such as trailer fenders, trailer brakes, stainless steel doors and additional conveyor offerings provide flexibility for diverse feeding operations.

Grain drill

The KUHN 9600 folding grain drill is a high-efficiency solution built for durability and designed to help farmers seed more acres with less downtime. Available in 30 ft. (9.1 m) and 40 ft. (12.1 m) working widths, the KUHN 9600 offers flexible configuration options to suit a wide range of operational needs, whether managing large acreage or aiming to streamline the seeding process. With one of the largest seed capacities in its class, the 9600 features a robust, all-steel welded seed tank that delivers exceptional durability. Its 3.43 bu./ft. (396.6 L/m) capacity means more time seeding and less time refilling, improving overall productivity.

This grain drill is ideal for planting small grains and cover crops in both minimum and conventional tillage systems. Farmers can choose from 6, 7.5 or 10 in. (15.2, 19.1 or 25.4 cm) row spacing to match specific crop needs and optimize seed placement for maximum yield potential. Precision seeding is simple with two easy-to-use controls for quick, accurate seed rate adjustments -- no chains or gears required. The KUHN Helica meter's spiraled flutes deliver consistent seed flow, while smooth drop tubes and a built-in agitator prevent bunching and bridging for even distribution across the drill width. Hydraulic downforce adapts to changing field conditions to maintain uniform seed depth, and the CrossFlex™ system allows each opener to follow the terrain independently for precise placement.

Fertilizer spreaders

The new KUHN Advance .1 Series precision fertilizer spreaders are engineered to deliver a combination of precise application, high capacity and commercial-grade durability. Designed specifically for row crop operations focused on managing input costs and maximizing yield potential, these trailed spreaders build on KUHN's proven technology to achieve highly accurate fertilizer placement under a wide range of field conditions.

The Advance .1 Series features KUHN's Coaxial Distribution Adjustment and Electronic Mass Flow Control technologies, working together to achieve up to 98% application accuracy by automatically adjusting for ground speed, rate and changing field conditions. This high-level precision supports sustainable nutrient management and helps reduce input costs.

Additional automated systems -- VariSpread Section Control and OptiPoint Pro Headland Control -- enhance accuracy even further using GPS and field shape data to automatically manage working width, outlet openings and switch on/off points. These technologies eliminate overlaps and gaps, ensuring precise product placement and accurate application rates across the entire field. To simplify operation, the spreaders are fully ISOBUS compatible and integrate seamlessly with existing precision systems to offer hands-free adjustments during complex applications.

Producers can choose between two specialized PowerPack systems: the Axis PowerPack for high precision nutrient application, or the Universal PowerPack for high volume materials such as lime. PowerPacks can be switched in as little as 10 minutes, allowing operators to quickly adapt to different application needs.

All of these new products are available now through authorized KUHN dealers across North America.
