APRIL CANADIAN TRACTOR SALES DOWN, COMBINE SALES UP May 15, 2026 Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) reports: According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," the sale of all tractors during April 2026 in Canada were down 11% from the same month last year. In April, a total of 1,955 tractors were sold which compares to 2,203 sold in 2025. For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 21% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 2%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 32%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were down 31%. Combine sales in April totaled 418 and were down 43% from last year. For the year, total tractor sales are down 8%. Smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 13%, 40 and under 100 HP are down 4% while 100+ HP are up 7%. Sales of 4-wheel drive tractors are down 15%.
