SCHERING-PLOUGH TO RELOCATE ITS CATTLE BUSINESS UNIT TO OMAHA Dec. 20, 2006

Industry sources report that pharmaceutical company Schering-Plough (SP) will relocate its beef and dairy marketing and sales managers from its New Jersey headquarters to Omaha, NE, early next year.
The executives will move into the new distribution center the company is building west of Omaha along Interstate 80.
Larry Miller, VP of SP's global ruminant business unit says the purpose of the move is to get closer to its customers and to be able to attract top talent.
SP Animal Health unit's marketing communications agency is Swanson Russell whose headquarters are in Lincoln, NE, with a branch office in Omaha.
