Apr. 4, 2007 Source: AgriMarketing CEO John Becherer of the United Soybean Board (USB) recently announced the following timeline for its review of marketing communications agencies: *April 23: RFPs will be sent to those agencies that have registered to receive it, *May 23: Responses to the RFP are due, USB Executive Committee will score the responses according to a well-defined and balanced system. *Early July: Invited agencies will make presentations, *Mid-July: Agency selection will be finalized and announced. "This is for our Producer Communications contract only," Becherer says. "A major portion of the activity is communicating with farmers about USB activities and other topics of interest to the soybean industry. There are also major components of the contract that are associated with communicating with the organizations associated with soybeans and communications support for the Board. "We also have a consumer and food industry communications contract which is handled by Publicis Groupe's Seattle, WA, office, but that is not included in the review."
