MORGAN&MYERS HIRES NEW PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSOCIATE May 23, 2007
Source: Morgan&Myers news release
Morgan&Myers announces the hiring of Travis Maier as a public relations associate. Maier will work in the Waukesha office of the communications firm, and serve a variety of clients, including the Schering-Plough, Case IH and McDonald's accounts.
Prior to joining Morgan&Myers, Maier worked as a recruiter for Manpower Professional, and as an assistant recruiter at U.S. Bank in Milwaukee. He also has served as the public relations coordinator at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM), where he implemented university, community and national recognition-building public relations strategies. Maier graduated from MSUM in December 2005, with a bachelor's degree in mass communications/public relations emphasis.
"Travis spent the summer of 2005 with us as the Morgan&Myers Food Chain Intern, and we knew then that he'd be a great fit for our clients," says Tim Oliver, Morgan&Myers president. "A hard-working farm kid with exceptional communications skills - that's an ideal background for an M&M associate."
Maier grew up on a farm and ranch in the rural Dakotas. "Working at Morgan&Myers is the perfect blend, because it allows me to fully utilize my background and my education," Maier says. "I remain actively engaged in agriculture, and I get to help some of the country's leading agricultural companies build their brands."
