AMVAC NAMES NEW MARKETING MANAGER Nov. 2, 2007

Paul Vaculin has been named marketing manager for granular insecticides and closed delivery systems by AMVAC Chemical Corp.
Vaculin, a 20-year veteran of the crop protection industry, will provide commercial product management for AMVAC's portfolio of granular insecticides, including Fortress® 2.5G and 5G, Thimet®, Counter®, Aztec® 4.67G SmartBox, Force® 3G SmartBox and Lorsban® 15G SmartBox, as well as the company's closed-delivery systems, which include SmartBox®, Lock 'N Load® and EZ Load®.
Prior to joining AMVAC in 2000, Vaculin worked for American Cyanamid Co. for more than a decade. During his tenure there, he was a key member of sales and market development teams that built high market share for Counter, Thimet and the Lock 'N Load packaging system. He held various area, district and regional sales, technical management and market development positions in geographies ranging from the Mississippi Delta, to the Corn Belt and the Red River Valley agricultural region of eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota.
Before accepting the new post within AMVAC, Vaculin was regional product development manager for AMVAC's Southern Region. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas A&M University.
