![]() Oct. 14, 2009 Source: Ogden Publications news release Ogden Publications has hired Sheila Kearney, Jennifer Mohwinkle and Rachel Smith to fill positions in its advertising sales and marketing departments. As an advertising account executive, Kearney works with new and existing clients to create 360-degree marketing programs. She represents Ogden's rural-lifestyle publications, including Mother Earth News, Grit, Capper's, Farm Collector, Gas Engine Magazine, Farmers' Almanac and Farmers' Almanac TV. Kearney returns to Ogden's advertising sales staff after selling for The Topeka Capital-Journal and Florists' Review. Mohwinkle joins Ogden's merchandise marketing team as a marketing coordinator. She maintains Ogden's shopping Web sites, develops online merchandise marketing strategies, writes Web copy and sets up online promotions. Mohwinkle graduated in May from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Smith joins the marketing team as the public relations specialist. She helps create strategies to promote Ogden's 10 publications and related services, works with media nationwide, writes news releases, books interviews and coordinates production of the internal newsletter. She previously worked in fundraising at Baker University. Smith earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Kansas. Tweet |
