PIONEER NAMES NEW MEMBER TO ITS BIOTECH AFFAIRS AND REGULATORY DEPARTMENT
Source: DuPont news release

DuPont business Pioneer Hi-Bred announced the addition of Jerry Flint, formerly of Monsanto, to its Biotech Affairs and Regulatory Department as senior director - Registration and Regulatory Affairs.

Flint will play an instrumental role in establishing DuPont as the industry leader in agriculture biotechnology by helping to advance current Pioneer strategy to further enhance the organization's industry presence and efficiency in the regulatory arena.

"As we face growing world demand for products, it is crucial we focus our efforts on advancing biotech traits forward into growers' fields," said Jeff Rowe, vice president - Pioneer Biotech Affairs and Regulatory. "Flint brings vast regulatory experience and passion to our program and will be critical to our team as Pioneer efficiently moves these traits through challenging regulatory systems."

Successfully navigating the increasingly complex regulatory environment is critical for the advancement and development of next generation products. The addition of Flint, along with additional adjustments within the Biotech Affairs and Regulatory department, will help Pioneer proactively manage the timely approvals of proprietary biotech traits and set industry deregulation standards.
