DOW AGROSCIENCES AND MYCOGEN SEEDS ANNOUNCE PERSONNEL CHANGES

Dow AgroSciences and Mycogen Seeds announce several key personnel changes to the U.S. Seeds division to prepare for new traits and technologies in the companies' pipeline.

"The seed industry is changing rapidly with the introduction of substantial new traits and technologies. To meet the needs of growers, we are pleased to announce some key changes to our U.S. Seeds division," says Doug Vail, Mycogen Seeds general manager. "I am really proud of the team we have in place and I'm confident that we will continue to provide outstanding seeds and service for growers across the country."

Casey Onstot is named traits launch manager, U.S. seeds, with responsibility for introducing new seed traits and technologies to the marketplace. In his role, Onstot will oversee activities for the continuing launch of SmartStax and upcoming technologies, including the new Dow AgroSciences herbicide tolerant trait technology in both corn and soybeans across Mycogen Seeds and all U.S. Seeds affiliates. Onstot is a native of Iowa, where he received bachelor's degrees from Iowa State University. He joined Dow AgroSciences in 2006 where his most recent position was U.S. crops launch specialist.

Brendon Lueck is the new Mycogen Seeds Grower Focus Leader. He will direct efforts to retain existing customers and gain new prospects. In addition, he will manage call center and direct marketing efforts aimed at growers. Lueck earned bachelor's degrees from the University of Missouri before joining Dow AgroSciences in 2003. He served as Mycogen seeds marketing communications manager in his most recent role.

Casey Mattke has been named Mycogen Seeds marketing communications manager. He will be responsible for coordination, development and execution of the communication plans for all MYCOGEN brand crops, including corn, silage, sunflowers, canola and soybeans. Mattke earned a bachelor's degree from Kansas State University. Currently based in Texas, Mattke and his family will be relocating to Indianapolis in February. His previous role was southwest district sales representative for Dow AgroSciences.

Brent Stauffacher has been named the new Mycogen Seeds district sales manager for the Western District. Stauffacher has served in a number of sales and operations planning roles for Dow AgroSciences and Mycogen Seeds. He is a native of Verona, Wis., and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He most recently held the role of traits launch manager. Stauffacher will relocate to Colorado with his family.

In addition, Matt Deal is taking on the role of district channel manager for Mycogen Seeds. Deal will support seed efforts across national accounts in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. Deal is a graduate of Illinois State University and originally joined Dow AgroSciences in 1998. He most recently served as the Mycogen Seeds grower focus implementation leader.
