NOVUS INTERNATIONAL NAMES MANAGER OF RUMINANT NUTRITION

Novus International, Inc., a global leader in animal health and nutrition is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Geoffrey Zanton, Ph.D. as manager, ruminant nutrition. Dr. Zanton will be responsible for managing ruminant research and will serve as a technical lead for Novus's ruminant team.
"Dr. Zanton's extensive research in ruminant nutrition, development and milk production will be an important asset to our research team," stated Mercedes Vazquez-Anon, director, animal nutrition research, Novus International.
Dr. Zanton received a bachelor's degree in animal and dairy science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2009, Dr. Zanton received his Ph.D. in dairy and animal science from Penn State University. His research focused on novel high concentrate, limit-feeding strategies for dairy heifers.
Dr. Zanton is an author on 12 peer reviewed articles, 11 popular press and conference proceedings articles and 15 conference abstracts. Dr. Zanton was raised on a dairy and crop farm in south-central Wisconsin.
