![]() Mar. 18, 2010 Source: Hawkeye Gold news release Hawkeye Gold, LLC, a leading U.S. ethanol and distillers grains marketer, announced another key addition to its ethanol marketing team. James Sneed will be joining Hawkeye Gold as a senior account manager for ethanol marketing. Sneed has spent the past 18 years with Aventine Renewable Energy and its predecessor companies in a variety of financial, operational, business development, and supply and distribution management roles. Most recently he has served as vice president of marketing and logistics where he was responsible for ethanol and co-product marketing as well as the supply and distribution functions for Aventine. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.S. in Accounting from Olivet Nazarene University and an MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. He will join Marc Lamond, Hawkeye Gold's national sales manager, and Chris Ludwig, who was recently named senior vice president of ethanol marketing, on Hawkeye Gold's ethanol marketing team. The company also recently announced the addition of Greg Hibner as president of Hawkeye Gold. Bruce Rastetter, CEO of Hawkeye Energy Holdings, said, "Jim brings to Hawkeye Gold the considerable experience of someone who developed, built and managed a marketing and logistical distribution system that handled nearly a billion gallons of ethanol a year.
