Source: Henderson Communications news release

Henderson Communications, publisher of Agri Marketing magazine announces the launch of the Rural Marketing News e-newsletter.

"Rural Marketing News is sent every other Tuesday to 6,500 company marketing, communications and management executives, plus their ad/PR agencies that are providing products and services to rural lifestyle consumers," reports Lynn Henderson, President of Henderson Communications.

Mike Gustafson, recently retired from John Deere and is a former President of the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) is Editor of the newsletter. "My wife and I live in the country and are what you would call rural lifestylers," Gustafson says. "It is fun to be able to provide company executives regular updates about news that is affecting their markets.

"The newsletter provides updates on products and services that are being launched, mergers and acquisitions, agency changes, key personnel moves and other news about the industry," Gustafson explains.

In addition to news, the newsletter also has a Resource Center which includes "Fast Facts About the Market," "Articles About Marketing To The Rural Consumer," and an archive of the newsletter's past issues.

The newsletter's exclusive sponsor is Ogden Publications, publisher of Mother Earth News, Grit, Capper's, Farm Collector and other media for the rural-lifestyle consumer. "Both Ogden and Agri Marketing strive to help their advertisers keep their finger on the pulse of this growing market, making this a natural partnership," says Bill Uhler, Ogden's general manager.
