Apr. 5, 2010 Source: Gehl news release Gehl Company ("Gehl") announced today that Daniel L. Miller will succeed Malcolm "Mac" F. Moore as President of Gehl Company effective April 1, 2010. Mr. Miller joined Gehl Company as Director of Manufacturing Operations in October 2001 and was appointed Vice President, Manufacturing Operations in December 2005. Prior to joining Gehl Company, Mr. Miller held a variety of senior management positions in manufacturing and distribution at Woods Equipment Company, a manufacturer of agricultural, turf and construction equipment. Mr. Miller also served as the President of the Agricultural Products Group for TIC United Corp. in Dallas, Texas. Commenting on the management transition, Moore said, "We are very pleased to have Dan stepping into the lead management role for Gehl Company. Dan has an excellent background in operations management and a thorough understanding of our products, markets, and the many opportunities that lie ahead in the compact equipment sector. Dan and I have worked very closely over the past 8-1/2 years and I know that I will be leaving Gehl in good hands." New VP/Sales & Marketing Serge Bosché is promoted to the position of Vice President Sales and Marketing, effective immediately. In his new assignment, Mr. Bosché will have responsibility for all sales and promotional activities in the Americas region for Gehl Company and Manitou B.F. Mr. Bosché joined the Gehl organization in February 2009 following the acquisition of Gehl Company by Manitou B.F. in October 2008. In addition to his new responsibilities, Mr. Bosché will continue to serve as the President and CEO of Manitou North America, Inc., a sister company located in Waco, Texas. Mr. Bosché has been an employee of Manitou B.F. since 1983, having served in a variety of senior level positions. He holds a business degree from ESCAE in France, and a Masters of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, Ohio. New VP/Finanace and Corp. Sec'y Shannon K. Van Dyke has been promoted to Vice President-Finance and Corporate Secretary for Gehl Company, effective immediately. Ms. Van Dyke joined the Company in 2005 and has most recently served as Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Gehl Company, Ms. Van Dyke served in a variety of senior accounting positions with Nordstrom, Inc. and Lane Bryant, Inc. Earlier in her career, she specialized in public accounting with the independent public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen LLP. Ms. Van Dyke is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Northern Michigan University. Tweet |
