TOP PRODUCER ADDS MID-NOVEMBER ISSUE
Source: Farm Journal Media news release

Top Producer magazine has announced that an additional issue of the magazine will hit mailboxes later this year. The first-ever Top Producer Mid-November issue will focus on 2011 planning for its top-end commercial producer audience, offering tips and guidance for business, production and market planning in the year ahead.

"This resource guide will be a valuable tool producers can use when preparing for the year ahead," says Top Producer editor Jeanne Bernick. "Mid-November, following harvest, is the perfect time for producers to re-evaluate their business and production systems and fine-tune their marketing strategies. This guide is part of our continued commitment to bring the best thinking and insights to agriculture's most important segment."

Top Producer specifically targets large commercial farm operators generating gross farm receipts of $500,000 or more annually.

"This segment is the fastest-growing in agriculture, expanding 65% between the 2002 and 2007 census," commented Steve Custer, executive vice president and publisher of Top Producer.

"Advertisers have recognized this, making Top Producer the fastest-growing magazine in agriculture. Expanding the publishing frequency offers our customers another opportunity to reach their most important customers and prospects in the heart of the planning season."

Features of this special edition of the magazine will cover the wide array of critical decisions top producers face in preparation for the next season -- from crop inputs to taxes, insurance and credit. In addition, market analysts speaking at the Farm Journal Marketing Rally on Dec. 1-2, 2010, will share their outlook for 2011 in a special section.
