SEVEN JOHN DEERE DEALERSHIPS TO MERGE INTO ONE ENTITY May 20, 2010
Farm Equipment Manufacturers Assoc. (FEMA) reports:
In Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri seven family-owned John Deere dealerships announced they are merging their operations to form Legacy Equipment, LLC.
The dealerships involved are: Corning Implement Co., Kirk Equipment Co., and Piggott Tractor and Equipment Co., all in Arkansas; and Bazzell & Wilder Inc. and W.M. Crysler Co. in Missouri.
Under the terms of the agreement, Legacy will combine assets, management and day-to-day operations for all locations.
When the consolidation is complete, Legacy will provide equipment, parts, and service to 3 counties in Northeast Arkansas and 6 counties in Southeast Missouri totaling over 1.5 million acres of production farm land.
