Now farm equipment customers can access the agricultural information they need most, anywhere they have cell phone coverage, with pictures and equipment detail. Using their smart phones, farmers can instantly browse: • Ag equipment listings • Equipment values • Dealer information • Commodity prices • Current weather forecasts "It's more than an app," said Cliff Wolfe, Fastline IT director. "Our mobile site has been designed to run on all internet-enabled phones. We made sure we created a tool that would work for the widest base of users." The Internet-based mobile site is designed to work with all browsers and platforms including the BlackBerry, Android, and iPhone. "It will work with all smart phones using low-speed connection, 3G or 4G networks, and wi-fi," added Wolfe. In addition, all links to the dealers' websites and email addresses are clickable, and all phone numbers from an Android or iPhone can be dialed. The list of phones with this capability continues to grow. "This is going to revolutionize the way farmers search for equipment," added Wolfe. "The user is no longer limited to their desktop computer. We have now made the equipment available to them anywhere, anytime." Fastline has 22 nationwide farm publications, six truck publications, and one Mexico farm publication -- creating a combined readership of over one million.
