DOW AGROSCIENCES NAMES NEW HERBICIDE BRAND MANAGER
Source: Dow AgroSciences news release

Dow AgroSciences announces Christy Randolph has joined the company as the brand manager for its unique new herbicide tolerant trait technology. Randolph will manage the brand's marketing activities and be responsible for coordination, development and execution of the communication plans in preparation for the trait launch in corn, soybeans and cotton expected in the next few years.

"The Dow AgroSciences herbicide tolerant trait technology will provide growers with solutions to manage tough weeds, including those showing resistance to glyphosate," says Damon Palmer, Dow AgroSciences herbicide trait commercialization leader. "Christy brings extensive experience in brand development to the position to help bring this important new technology to market."

Prior to joining Dow AgroSciences, Randolph worked at the advertising firm Young & Laramore in Indianapolis, where she was responsible for business development on regional and national brands. She earned a bachelor's degree in public affairs from Indiana University-Bloomington and a master's degree in public affairs from Indiana University-Indianapolis.

"The weed landscape is changing, threatening growers' efficiency and yields," Randolph says. "This technology will meet an important need, and I look forward to helping with its launch."
