CORN, COTTON PRICES SOAR

Agri Marketing magazine reports
Corn futures prices reached $5.13 on Friday, their highest level in 2 1/2 years and are up 20% since August 1. Nearly 50% since June 29.
This, in light of the fact that grain prices normally are at their annual season lows this time of year, sets the stage for wildly volatile markets over the next several months similar to 2008.
Cotton prices are nearly $100...their highest level in over a decade.
