VETERAN AG COMMUNIATOR KURT LAWTON JOINS DTN/THE PROGRESSIVE FARMER

Kurt Lawton will be joining Telvent DTN as Crops Technology Editor, and will lead the crops coverage both for DTN and for The Progressive Farmer magazine. He starts Feb. 14.
Kurt's journalistic talents are well-known. He has been a key freelance contributor to The Progressive Farmer for many years and also a frequent voice recently on DTN's pages and in Reporters Notebook videos.
Kurt has more than 25 years experience covering agricultural issues, lately for PF and previously as a staff writer and eventually editor of Farm Industry News, and as editorial director for the web-based Rooster.com.
He's won numerous writing and photography awards in the agricultural journalism industry. He has also worked in public relations.
