BASF CANADA NAMES KENNA AND ON ITS AGENCY PARTNERS
Source: BASF news release

BASF Canada, Crop Protection division, announced today their partnerships for marketing services. Current agency partner, Kenna Communications LP, will increase the scope of its existing relationship, while ON Communication Inc. has been selected as the new Public Relations agency of record. "We look forward to our new partnership with both Kenna and ON," says Jeff Denys, Commercialization Manager for BASF Canada. "This puts us in an excellent position to implement customer strategies that support our innovation and growth plans."

Kenna will be expanding its current role to include brand building, creative services and brand communication for BASF. This adds to the established relationship between Kenna and BASF for data-driven insights, customer relationship management, and customer programs. "With a changing agricultural marketplace, effectively connecting brands to customers requires a new approach," states Jeff Bowles, Executive Vice President at Kenna. "Our expanded role with BASF presents a perfect opportunity to integrate all marketing activities and make those connections."

London-based ON Communication Inc. will focus on planning and executing public relations activities including editor and media relations, field events, trade shows and customer engagement meetings for BASF. "Working with BASF will be an exciting venture and a natural fit for our team," says Rob Boyer, Owner of ON Communication. "We're also looking forward to partnering with Kenna to create strategic programs that will make an impact for BASF."

BASF Canada is a leader in crop protection and committed to providing innovative products and sustainable solutions in support of a strong farming industry. The decision in selecting Kenna and ON reflects their respect for the value of communication, in bringing that message to Canadian growers.
