New Employees Morgan&Myers welcomes two new employees who were hired in the first quarter. Sarah Hill joined Morgan&Myers as an associate. Hill is serving the Case IH, Foremost Farms, and National Milk Producers Federation accounts. She previously worked as a 4-H educator in Cheyenne, Wyo., where she coordinated volunteer efforts and youth development programming for 4-H activities on Warren Air Force Base. A Missouri native, Hill graduated from the University of Missouri in 2008 with a degree in agricultural journalism. In college, she served as an editorial intern with Hoard's Dairyman magazine in Fort Atkinson, Wis., and as a corporate communications intern with Dairy Farmers of America, Inc., in Kansas City, Mo. Sally-Anne Kaminski joined Morgan&Myers as a senior associate in digital and social media engagement. A Wisconsin native, she works with all Morgan&Myers clients to increase, improve and better utilize their online presence and social media efforts. Kaminski brings five years of marketing and digital experience from her previous position with Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (M&I Bank), where she worked with the corporate marketing and online banking marketing teams. While pursuing a mass communications degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, she interned at WITI-TV and on an advertising campaign for Procter & Gamble. "We're thrilled with the passion, talent, and skills these young women are contributing to our team," says Tim Oliver, president of Morgan&Myers. "These young professionals already have extensive experience in communications and marketing, and a strong desire to make a difference in the agriculture industry." Promotions Morgan&Myers is also pleased to announce several promotions. Tricia Burkhardt, of Morgan&Myers' Iowa office, has been promoted to counselor. She excels at client service and going above and beyond to get the job done. Burkhardt played a tremendous role in managing the Kruger Seeds account, and is currently a key member of the account team serving Pfizer Animal Health. Travis Maier has also been promoted to counselor. Maier clearly demonstrated counselor leadership through his role as the Case IH account team lead and his oversight of the Morgan&Myers internship program. He provides the servant leadership Morgan&Myers' clients expect, regardless of the challenges. "The jump from senior associate to counselor is a big one, and is dependent on the person demonstrating the ability to manage significant work, strong creative strategic thinking skills - and a proven ability to be indispensible to clients," Oliver says. Kristina Hopkins has been promoted to senior associate. Hopkins' ability to think through client issues, provide meaningful, on-target counsel and carefully manage budgets has been instrumental to the National Milk Producers Federation, an account she manages. Hopkins is also a member of the Case IH account team. "Kristina's previous agency experience, work ethic, passion for agriculture and dedication to client service make her an invaluable asset to Morgan&Myers," says Oliver. Summer Interns Morgan&Myers welcomes two summer interns to the Waukesha, Wis. office. Lindsay Garrett, a senior agricultural communications and journalism major pursuing a meat science certification from Texas A&M University, joined Morgan&Myers as a summer intern. A Texas native, Garrett has a background in the purebred cattle industry. Her experience includes writing internships with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the State Fair of Texas. Trista Gropp also recently joined Morgan&Myers as an intern. Gropp is a May 2011, graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UW-RF), where she received a degree in marketing communications with a minor in animal science. Gropp's strong agricultural background includes being raised on a dairy farm near Spencer, Wis., and writing experience with UW-RF University Communications and the Wisconsin FFA Center. She also interned with the Partnership for Progressive Agriculture in Wausau, Wis. Tweet |
