Living the Country Life ended its 2011 fiscal year with a record sales performance making it the best year ever for the joint venture between Learfield Communications and Meredith Corporation. The franchise experienced growth in all of its multi-media products, including print, broadcast, digital, and custom publishing. "We've established new and exciting partnerships with brands and companies that provide important products and services to the ever-growing rural lifestyle audience," said Julie Schwalbe, general manager.
Living the Country Life magazine reaches more than 760,000 readers. The national radio program is the largest rural radio network in the U.S. with more than 350 affiliates, engaging millions of listeners twice a day, Monday through Friday. With over 150,000 monthly unique visitors and growing, LivingtheCountryLife.com continues to be the resource for the rural lifestyle audience to seek out quality information. Living the Country Life is also actively growing its social media network, custom solutions, and e-mail marketing. Rolling out this fall, Living the Country Life will have a new contemporary design and logo.
"The members of our audience are passionate, real people, who deliberately choose this lifestyle and take great pride in the best aspects of rural America, "said Schwalbe. "We are connecting marketers and the rural lifestyle audience."
