Oct. 25, 2011 Source: SFP news release As part of the inaugural "Yield Signs 4 Success" (YS4S) Program, SFP recently announced the National 4-H Council won its 30-Day Facebook Challenge, held in September 2011. SFP will donate $2,000 to 4-H to further its agricultural education endeavors with America's youth. To win the Challenge, 4-H generated the most traffic to the SFP Facebook page, asking visitors to "Like" the page and then post "4-H sent me!" on the company's Wall. The three additional YS4S organizations - Farm Safety 4 Just Kids, National FFA Foundation and the Royal Scholars (of the American Royal Association) - also participated in the 30-Day Challenge. The YS4S Program first was introduced at the June 2011 kickoff event for SFP's mobile marketing unit, where the company presented $5,000 to each of the four agricultural-based organizations. SFP recognized each of these organizations for their ongoing commitment to agricultural education and safety. Website visitors still can participate in the overall YS4S online contest by logging on to FENtour.com to cast their votes for one of the four organizations to receive the overall 2011 YS4S donation - $1 for every mile SFP's mobile marketing unit travels this year to industry tradeshows and field-day events. Wrapping up Oct. 31, 2011, the organization with the most votes will receive the final donation as this year's YS4S Program culminates. Tweet |
