Daffer also serves as a project leader for RISE Partnerships; a national volunteer for the Delta Zeta Sorority, a Hays Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and member of the Hays Area Young Professionals. Daffer earned a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership from Fort Hays State University, and a masters in counselor education with an emphasis in high education from Emporia State University. Daffer will be based in Hays, Kan.

A native of southwest Kansas, Adams has numerous years of experience in the newspaper business in Liberal, El Dorado, and Wellington before serving as the publisher of the Globe.

"Chandra (Daffer) and Darrel (Adams) are great additions to the Journal family," said Tom Taylor, publisher, High Plains/Midwest Ag Journal. "Their experience is an added-value to our publication and we look forward to their contributions."
