OSBORN & BARR ADDS SIX TO ITS KANSAS CITY STAFF
Source: Osborn & Barr news release

Osborn & Barr added six new members to support the agency's specialized practice groups. Deanna Montgomery lends her support to the Cultivate Practice Group, which focuses on all aspects of crop production. Lacy Adams, Megan Crudup and Katie Dogs join the Animal Practice Group, which specializes in animal agriculture and livestock industries. Lauren Lickteig and Brandy Neff provide production and financial service support, respectively, to both practice groups.

"Our passion and expertise in animal health, agriculture and rural America has allowed us to nurture valuable client relationships and attract talented professionals who complement the great work and exceptional people at O&B," says Boo Larsen, managing director, O&B-Kansas City.

As account supervisor for the Cultivate Practice Group, Montgomery is responsible for market strategy and day-to-day oversight on the SFP and AgraQuest accounts. Prior to joining O&B, Montgomery provided marketing and communications support to clients, such as Helzberg Diamonds, Cellular One and March of Dimes, during her eight years with Barkley Evergreen & Partners.

Neff joins as financial manager, supporting the Animal Practice Group, as well as the SFP and AgraQuest accounts. Neff comes to O&B from Stephens & Associates Advertising and Timber Creek Hobbies.

Dogs serves as public relations assistant account executive for the Animal Practice Group. Her key clients include the Livestock Improvement Corporation and Merck Animal Health. Dogs received a bachelor's degree in life sciences communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During college, she interned with Alltech and East Central/Select Sires and was a freelance writer.

Additional newcomers to the Animal Practice Group include assistant account executives Crudup and Adams. Crudup is a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in agricultural education, communication and technology. While working to complete her degree, she also interned at Tyson Foods and the American Paint Horse Association. Crudup supports the Merck Animal Health dairy business. Adams recently graduated from Friends University with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She served as a volunteer at Friends, where she was actively engaged with mental health services and community outreach. Adams works on the Merck Animal Health account.

Lickteig rounds out the team as a production assistant. She is a graduate of Kansas State University where she majored in mass communications with an emphasis in advertising and minored in leadership studies. Lauren interned with O&B last summer and supported the account service team. She has served as a teacher's assistant for Stone House Child Care Center and has been an assistant leader for the Beauty Queen for a Day Program, which promotes positive self-esteem in young women.
