The University of Illinois College of ACES and College of Media are hosting a symposium on the future of global food and agriculture in Champaign, Ill., on Feb. 17, 2012. This event also marks the 50th anniversary of the Agricultural Communications program at the University of Illinois. It will bring together professionals who are interested in food security topics. Speakers include: • International business leaders • Representatives from NGOs such as the Environmental Working Group, International Food Information Council, and the US Farmers and Ranchers Alliance • Journalists from the Wall Street Journal along with regional and trade publications • Leading communications academics from California, Colorado, Kansas, Florida and Illinois • And many more!
