Nov. 28, 2011 Source: Farm Journal Foundation The Farm Journal Foundation welcomes Jim Gresham to its team. He will serve as the Director, Partner Development for the Foundation's Farmers Feeding the World initiative. In this new role, Gresham will work with many of the leading companies and foundations in agriculture today as they join in the fight against hunger, both domestically and around the world. Prior to joining the Foundation, he served as president and co-owner of BlackFin Marketing Group, president of Adculture Group USA, Inc. and is a member of the Board of Directors of Haiti Outreach. "I made the decision to put my personal passions into practice in the challenge to end hunger around the world and here at home," says Gresham. "The American Farmer and U.S. agriculture and food production are the best weapons we have in this struggle, "Given the freedom to grow and to operate, American Farmers will be able to meet the needs of a rapidly growing global population as well as to provide cost effective food security for those suffering from malnutrition here in the U.S. "Farmers Feeding the World is the only organization I know that tackles hunger in three necessary ways. The Foundation is working to provide hunger relief as needed for millions of families, to provide global assistance in the development of sustainable agriculture, permanently lifting families out of hunger, and to educate millions of consumers here at home about the benefits of modern agriculture." About Farmers Feeding the World Farmers Feeding the World is an ongoing industry-wide initiative operated by the nonprofit Farm Journal Foundation to rally American agriculture against hunger. It raises financial support on a grassroots as well as on a corporate level to fight hunger, promote sustainable agriculture and educate the public about U.S. agriculture's power in feeding a hungry world.
