AGRI STUDIES TO CONDUCT STUDY OF PRODUCER ATTITUDES TOWARDS AG SALESPEOPLE IN CANADA
Source: Agri Studies Inc. news release

Agri Studies Inc, is pleased to announce the first ever "Producer Perspectives on Agricultural Salespeople Study". This in-depth piece of marketing research has been designed to gather insight from large Canadian farmers in various sectors of the industry regarding their attitudes and perceptions of the salespeople that call on their operations.

The research study will take a look at the following key topics:

- Attitudes and opinions regarding producer relationships with both manufacturer and retail salespeople

- Desired attributes, skills, and personal characteristics of highly effective salespeople

- General attitudes towards the role salespeople play in agricultural buying now and in the future

- Attitudes towards various elements of the sales process including frequency and timing of sales calls, and following communications

- Characteristics of highly effective sales organization and sales management

- Descriptions of "Best" and "Worst" salespeople and sales call situations

"We hope to provide sales and human resources managers with new information that will allow them to more effectively recruit, motivate, and train good salespeople in an effort to further their sales and marketing objectives", says Justin Funk, Managing Partner of Agri Studies. "In order to do this, we feel it's important that we spend time colleting in-depth information from people who's options matter the most on this topic - the farmer customer".

Research is to be conducted in the Winter of 2012 with insights available to subscribers by Spring of 2012. More information on this study and how to participate can be found at www.producerperspectives.com
