Dec. 19, 2011 Source: CHS news release CHS Inc. announces Brian Schouvieller was named senior vice president of grain marketing, North America. He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of CHS Grain Marketing and Crop Nutrients operations in North America. He will report to Mark Palmquist, CHS executive vice president and chief operating officer, ag business. Schouvieller joined CHS in 1991 as an intern and has held a variety of merchandising and management positions within Grain Marketing, including a one-year assignment in Mexico. He was most recently vice president, Grain Marketing international development. John McEnroe was named executive vice president, country operations. McEnroe will report to Carl Casale, CHS president and chief executive officer and will be part of the company's senior leadership team. CHS Country Operations serves more than 55,000 producers through 60 locally governed retail businesses. McEnroe is also responsible for the company's animal nutrition and sunflower processing businesses. Gary Anderson was named senior vice president of CHS oilseed processing. Anderson will be responsible for all oilseed processing businesses including oilseed crushing and refining operations as well as CHS Protein Foods operations. He will report to Mark Palmquist, CHS executive vice president and chief operating officer, ag business. Anderson joined CHS in 1986 as a grain merchandiser and has held a variety of merchandising and management positions with grain marketing, most recently serving as vice president of grain marketing, North America. He also spent several months in Brazil, working on company business there. Anderson succeeds Dennis Wendland, senior vice president, oilseed processing, who will retire in June 2012 after a 38-year career with CHS. CHS Inc. has opened an office in Singapore, and Rick Browne, senior vice president, grain marketing will lead the expansion and growth of CHS Asia-Pacific business platform. Browne will be based in Singapore. Browne joined CHS in 1979 as a grain merchandiser and has held a variety of grain marketing merchandising and management positions in St. Paul, Minn., and Portland, Ore. He was named senior vice president in 2001 and has led the CHS North American Grain Marketing platform since that time.
