NFOCUS ANNOUNCES ITS SECOND FORUM, CONNECTING SUPPLIERS WITH KEY AG PRODUCERS
Source: NFocus Partners news release

What happens when some of the largest and most innovative U.S. farmers get together with some of the leading agricultural suppliers?

"It's enlightening to spend time one-to-one with these folks," says Paul Welbig, director of marketing for Raven Industries. In addition to sharing information with the participants about Raven's latest precision technology and data management tools, Paul says his company gathered some unique market insights.

"We helped solve some unmet needs for these farmers," says Welbig. "We will also be taking the input back to the drawing board so Raven can develop even better solutions for this ever expanding market."

"You can talk business with people who share some common problems and goals, and learn from different perspectives" says Kevin Green, a farmer from DeWitt, Iowa.

Green was one of 15 farmers from nine states participating in an NFocus Forum for Agribusiness at the historic Adolphus Hotel in Dallas, Texas, January 23-26. The forum was orchestrated by NFocus Partners in cooperation with Beck Ag, Inc.

Designed to connect top farmers and agricultural suppliers through a series of personalized meetings, this event was the second NFocus Forum for Agribusiness facilitated by NFocus Partners.

"Large farming operations often can't afford the time to participate in multiple supplier meetings," says NFocus Partners co-founder and agricultural industry veteran Kim Nicholson. "At the same time, companies focused on selling products and services to farmers are finding it critical to build relationships with country's larger producers, she says.

"Our Agribusiness Forums allow the industry's leading suppliers and producers an opportunity to quickly and easily understand each other's goals, challenges and needs," says Nicholson.

Kevin Mills of Kennedy and Coe, LLC an accounting and consulting firm headquartered in Salina, Kansas working with clients across the nation had this to say about the recent event. "The agriculture industry group of our firm specializes in large production agriculture operations and high net worth landowners so this Forum was a perfect fit for us. Anytime we can meet 15 prospective clients in three days saves us a great deal of time."

"The forum is a great event to make an initial contact with a brief face-to-face discussion," adds Todd Jennison, a Kennedy and Coe manager. "We were impressed with the coordination," he adds.

In addition to one-on-one sessions, producers and suppliers had multiple networking opportunities, as well as access to BeckAgConnects.com, an invitation-only social networking forum for those in the ag industry.
