![]() May 11, 2012 American Soybean Association (ASA) reports: Lisa (DiGnazio) Pine joined the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) as Communications Manager, in its Chesterfield, Mo. office. USSEC operates ASA's International Marketing offices located in key marketing areas throughout the world. "Lisa brings nearly 20 years of communications experience to the soy family," said USSEC CEO Jim Sutter. "She has a wide variety of integrated communications experience for multi-national industry leaders that will contribute greatly to USSEC's efforts to enhance industry and grower communications." Pine comes to USSEC after marketing and communications roles with American Water, The Linde Group and Waste Management. She has extensive experience in branding, key message development, cross-cultural communications and relationship building. Pine reports to Dana Johnson, USSEC Director of Global Strategy and External Relations. A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Pine spends her free time painting, enjoying live music and supporting the activities of her daughters. USSEC activities are made possible through ASA's investment of cost-share funding provided by USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service, and by producer checkoff dollars invested by the United Soybean Board and various State Soybean Councils.
