May 14, 2012 Source: Isagro USA news release Isagro USA, Morrisville, NC, today announced the appointment of Alessandro Mariani as new President of Isagro USA, replacing Dennis Krass who will become Chairman of the Board of Isagro. Mariani began his career in 1983 with Isagro SpA, the parent company of Isagro USA. He served in multiple positions with Isagro, including as General Manager, Research and Design and Commercial Operations. Most recently, Mariani was Group Director, Commercial Operations for Isagro SpA. He will continue in that role in addition to his new duties as President of Isagro USA. Mariani will work out of the Isagro USA headquarters in Morrisville, NC. "We are pleased with the addition of Mariani to our USA team, which reflects the growing value and importance our operations have to our parent company in Italy," Krass said. Krass continues his contributions to Isagro USA as Chairman, and will operate out of his home in Mission Viejo, California. Quick and Leon promoted Mark Quick has been promoted to Isagro USA Vice-President, Sales and Marketing. He also assumes sales and marketing responsibility for selected international markets. Quick is based in San Diego, CA. Chris Leon has been promoted to Technical Development Manager, Americas. In addition to his development responsibilities in NAFTA, he will assume responsibility for field development of Isagro SpA products in Latin America. He will continue to be based in Madison, MS.
