Jun. 5, 2012 Source: Swanson Russell news release Dave Hansen, partner and CEO of Swanson Russell, was recently honored with a Lincoln American Marketing Association (AMA) lifetime achievement award. As the award recipient, he was also one of the first two inductees into Lincoln's AMA Hall of Fame. AMA's Lifetime Achievement award focuses on how the recipient has facilitated learning, growth and connection in the Lincoln marketing community. "It's an honor to be recognized as a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and inductee into the AMA Hall of Fame," said Hansen. "My dual degree in business and teaching has shaped my ability to mentor others and watch people grow and reach their potential. Over the years, it has been extremely satisfying to see past and current Swanson Russell employees pursue their goals and see the impact on Lincoln's business community." Kevin Keller, vice president of marketing for Union Bank, was also recognized and inducted into the Hall of Fame. Hansen and Keller worked together more than 30 years ago and now work together in an agency-client capacity. Hansen's career began in the financial industry. He served as a marketing analyst before working his way up to marketing director. Before starting his tenure at Swanson Russell, Hansen worked for Miller Friendt Ludemann, another advertising agency. He has been at Swanson Russell for the past 23 years, becoming a partner and CEO in 2007. Additionally, Hansen was one of the original founders of Lincoln's AMA chapter in 1983 and served as the AMA president during the 1985-1986 term. He holds degrees in business administration and teaching from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Tweet |
