MARRONE BIO INNOVATIONS FILES REGISTRATION FOR INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING

Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc. (MBI), a provider of bio-based pest management and plant health products for the agricultural and water treatment markets, announced today that it has filed a registration statement of the form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The number of shares to be sold and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.
Jefferies LLC and Piper Jaffray & Co. will act as lead joint book-running managers for the offering, and Stifel, Nicolaus & Company and Roth Capital Partners will act as co-managers for the offering.
