Jul. 24, 2013 BrownfieldAgNews reports: Indiana Pork names Josh Trenary as its new executive director. As he prepares to begin his tenure, Trenary tells Brownfield he's excited about his new role with the organization. "I feel like my responsibility as executive director is to focus on problems facing the pork industry that can be most effectively tackled at the state level," he says. " Prior to his appointment, Trenary served as Director of Business Development for Indiana Pork. He says that experience will be beneficial. "For the past few years I've focused on policy and regulatory issues for Indiana Pork," he says. "I think a lot of the challenges the pork industry faces can be informed with the working knowledge of the policy issues that affect pork." Heather Hill, President of the Indiana Pork Board and chairman of the search committee. "Over the past five years, Josh has proven himself to be an asset to the organization in multiple ways. He is an attorney who is also skilled in organization management. We feel this combination will serve Indiana's pork producers well."
