NATION'S FIRST COMMERCIAL SIZE CELLULOSIC ETHANOL PLANT NOW ONLINE

Red River Farm Network reports:
The nation's first commercial-scale cellulosic ethanol plant is up and running in Florida.
The plant at INEOS Bio's Indian River BioEnergy Center in Vero Beach, Florida uses a unique hybrid of gasification and fermentation to convert wood scraps, grass clippings and other waste materials into ethanol and energy for heat and power.
The plant produces 8 million gallons of ethanol and six megawatts of electricity per year.
