Dec. 11, 2013 Source: Agri Marketing magazine According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," the sale of all tractors in the U.S. for November 2013, were up 6% compared to the same month last year. For the ten months in 2013, a total of 183,846 tractors were sold which compares to 167,431 sold thru November 2012, representing an 10% increase year to date. For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were up 11% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 3%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 9%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 7%. For the ten months, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are up 11% over last year, while 40 & under 100 HP are up 5%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are up 18%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are down 2%. Combine sales were up 26% for the month. Sales of combines for the first ten months totaled 9,487, an increase of 7% over the same period in 2012. Tweet |
