THE PASSING OF JOE OSBORN

Joe Osborn, co-founder and retired President of Osborn Barr Communications; passed away Thursday, January 9th at his residence in Portland, Oregon. Osborn was a well-known advertising leader in the St. Louis and national advertising community having created and directed many well-known advertising campaigns in the agricultural industry.
"Joe's creativity and work ethic were unparalleled in our industry", said Steve Barr, co-founder of Osborn+Barr. "He had an unique ability to think across strategic and tactical lines on the way to creating and leading our creative teams to great solutions for our clients. And he left a lasting impact on our agency, clients and friends. Joe will be greatly missed by many".
Joe is survived by his sweetheart, Leslie Kahl, residing in Portland; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Melissa Osborn and Leslie's son Andy and (Sara) Matuschak of San Francisco; and sister Jo Ella Doggett of San Antonio.
A tribute event will be held in St. Louis and memorials will be announced at a later date.
