![]() Sep. 17, 2014 Source: Purdue University news release Agribusiness professionals can fine-tune their decision-making and agrimarketing skills, as well as expand their professional network, in two seminars offered this fall by the Purdue University Center for Food and Agricultural Business. Both seminars will be held on Purdue's campus in West Lafayette. Continuing education credits are available for both sessions. The seminars are: * Structuring Decisions: Innovating Through Turbulence: Sept. 16- 18. The seminar is designed for agribusiness leaders who are pursuing growth and investment possibilities, investigating new markets, developing product launch strategies, analyzing research and technological developments and leading or implementing growth or change initiatives. Participants will learn the framework for decision-making, tools for effective decision-making and how to implement decisions. Presenters are Michael Boehlje, Purdue distinguished professor of agricultural economics; Allan Gray, director of the Purdue Center for Food and Agribusiness; and Nicole Olynk Widmar, Purdue associate professor of agricultural economics. This inaugural seminar is designed for managers with marketing responsibilities.
