![]() Sep. 22, 2014 Source: Iowa State University The Department of Agricultural Education & Studies at Iowa State University seeks applicants for a 9-month, tenure track position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in agricultural communications. The position is 75% teaching and advising, and 25% research/creative activities. The individual filling this position will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop new courses, and conduct a strong scholarship program of national scope focused on agricultural communications. The successful candidate will: *teach resident as well as distance education courses; *advise students at the undergraduate and graduate levels; *coordinate and provide leadership to the agricultural communications option in Agriculture and Life Sciences Education (B.S.); *supervise student interns; *serve on departmental, college, and university committees; *advise the student organization Ag Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT); and *write contract/grant proposals for extramural funding and other opportunities related to agricultural communications.
