FFA RELEASES REFINED LOGO, WEBSITE
Source: FFA news release

Along with the launch of a new website, the National FFA Organization has updated the FFA emblem. While it retains the basic character of the original emblem dating back to 1928, the 2015 version had been digitally enhanced to more clearly define the eagle, owl, shield, plow and arrows. The wings of the eagle have been made more symmetrical while the rays of the sun and kernels of corn are equally proportioned. In addition, the registered trademark symbol is now within the border of the ear of corn.

Over the next year, the refined emblem will make its way onto FFA jackets and all other FFA merchandise.

Using features from the Future Farmers of Virginia, the FFA emblem was adopted by delegates to the first national convention of the Future Farmers of America in 1928. Changes have been made over the years with the most significant in 1989 when the words "vocational agriculture" were replace by "agricultural education".
