Mar. 6, 2015 American Agricultural Editors' Association (AAEA) reports: AAEA scholarship applications are due April 3. In 2015, four scholarships will be awarded: The James Evans Scholarship is the top scholarship offered, in the amount of $2,000. The winner of this scholarship is selected from the top four applicants. Three Past Presidents' Club scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 each, and all four scholarships are made possible through a grant from the AAEA Professional Improvement Foundation (PIF), with support from past presidents of AAEA. Applicants must be current members of ACT and enrolled as an undergraduate student at a university or college during the time of their application (applicants may be graduating seniors.). Recipients will be selected based on the following criteria: • ACT involvement, leadership activities and other campus organizational involvement • Academic achievements • Internships and career-related experiences • Reference recommendations Please encourage students you know to apply, and please pass along this information to university and college communications professors and/or advisers you know.
