SERVI-TECH ANNOUNCES NEW COO, EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT TEAM
Source: Servi-Tech news release

Servi-‐Tech President and CEO Greg Ruehle is pleased to announce the formation of his Executive Management Team. Joining the company is Jeff Hiers in the newly created Chief Operating Officer position.

Hiers will be responsible for sales, IT, communications and marketing efforts, as well as human resources and educational programming. He comes to Servi-‐Tech from the Kansas Farmers Service Agency (KFSA), where he has served cooperatives and growers in the insurance and risk management areas.

Jeff and his wife Debbie live in Dodge City. He starts his new duties April 1.

Three current Servi-‐Tech employees will also join the Executive Management Team:
• Jeff Kugler, CEO for Servi- Tech Expanded Premium Services, LLC (STEPS). As a wholly- owned subsidiary of Servi-‐Tech, STEPS has established an industry-‐leading soil moisture management program (TheProfiler), and continues to evaluate a number of new technology offerings. Jeff has been employed for 39 years with Servi-‐Tech starting as an agronomist, then division manager and regional manager for Crop Services, and now CEO of STEPS.
• Jeff McDaniel is now Chief Financial Officer for Servi-‐Tech. McDaniel's career at Servi-‐Tech has spanned 23 years, most recently serving as the company's Business Manager. In his new role, Jeff will continue his current responsibilities, as well as be involved in the evaluation of current and future business enterprises that Servi-‐Tech may consider.
• Randy Royle assumes the title of Chief Laboratory Officer for Servi-‐Tech. Randy has been with Servi-‐Tech for 28 years, most recently as the Director of Laboratories. In addition to managing the operations for laboratories at our Dodge City, KS, Hasting, NE and Amarillo, TX locations, Randy will also provide insight to enhance Servi-‐Tech's scientific efforts.

This announcement comes as Servi-‐Tech celebrates its 40th anniversary. "I am thrilled to be joined by such a talented and experienced group of executives to lead Servi-‐Tech," Ruehle said. "The Executive Management Team provides a unique blend of experience and expertise that will launch Servi-‐Tech into its next chapter in history. I am excited to see what happens over the next 40 years."

Servi-‐Tech, the nation's largest agronomic firm, was organized in 1975 by three farmer-‐owned cooperatives to provide technical service for agricultural producers in southwest Kansas. Today, Servi-‐ Tech provides consulting to approximately 2,000 farmers across seven states and over 1 million acres. Servi-‐Tech Laboratories has agricultural customers in all 50 states and over six countries. For more information visit www.servitech.com.
