DIGITAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCREASED FOR TWO DTN/THE PROGRESSIVE FARMER STAFF MEMBERS
Source: DTN/The Progressive Farmer news release

With their growing digital footprint, particularly the new release of MyDTN.com and the upcoming upgrade in DTNPF.com, DTN/The Progressive Farmer has increased responsibilities for two members of its sales team -- Sheri Seger and Jaclyn Cairnes.

Sheri, formerly a regional sales manager for the DTN/The Progressive Farmer Media group, is now the new Director of Major Accounts and Digital Strategy. In her new role she will work with the advertising sales staff to develop programs and opportunities for major advertisers and will work with the Publisher, Jack Odle, and Vice President of Agriculture, Matt Bradford, to implement the company's digital media strategy going forward.

Sheri is a 14-year veteran of the company and is a graduate in Management with a specialization in Marketing from Purdue University. She will be serving on the DTN/The Progressive Farmer Media Group Management Team and is also currently on the NAMA Executive Committee.

"Sheri's knowledge of the digital opportunities and her contacts in the advertising community make her the ideal person to help us grow our digital products. She is a true professional and well respected in the industry," says Publisher, Jack Odle.

Jaclyn Cairnes, formerly the DTN/The Progressive Farmer Sales Promotion Manager, will now be the Coordinator of Sales Promotion and Digital Operations. Jackie has been with the company for 4 years. She graduated from Auburn University in 2006 with a Bachelor degree in Marketing.

In her new role, Jackie will focus on developing and improving digital reporting functions and training while continuing to supervise the sales promotion functions.

"Jackie has been invaluable in her role in sales promotion and with her added responsibilities she will improve and increase the efficiency of our digital operations and digital reporting services," says Odle.
