Apr. 30, 2015 Source: J.L. Farmakis news release Launched in mid-April is the Michigan Agriculture Information Network (MAIN). This network might be new, but it will celebrate the rich heritage of agriculture radio in Michigan by returning to the local roots that made it great, with the Driscoll family coming back to the microphone providing pure local coverage of this very diverse agriculture state. Pat Driscoll, former award winning Director of MFRN, will serve as Farm Director to the new MAIN. Driscoll says his reason for coming back to ag radio is simple. "It's about providing valuable, state relevant information Michigan producers can't get anywhere else. I'm bringing 15 years of building a strong reputation among consumers, which gives me a chance to return with new perspective - new insight and depth that will allow us to help keep Michigan growers ahead of the informational curve." As part of a broad partnership package, Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizer's brand new LEED Gold-certified, world headquarters will be dedicating its state of the art broadcast facilities in central Michigan to MAIN's daily efforts. Agro-Culture Liquid Marketing Manager, Albert Bancroft, explains their desire to invest in this network. Educating and informing is a part of our business, having an industry-leading research farm available to us for more than 20 years, we know the importance of providing the best, most accurate information possible. Taking the opportunity to support another channel to provide information came natural to us." MAIN will cover the key ag counties in this diverse state, and will be represented by J.L. Farmakis, Inc.
