Founder John Roach says Manternach was hired for his experience and success serving farmers' needs for timely, profitable risk management counsel over his 38-year career. Manternach began his career with Professional Farmers of America in Cedar Falls, IA, rising to President of the firm before leaving after 22 years to join Sparks Companies of Memphis (now Informa Economics) as VP for Custom Content and later, marketing of multi-client studies for Sparks. He joined Doane Advisory Services in 2003 as VP and Editor of both Doane's Agricultural Report and Ag Lender Magazine.
