AGENCY NEWS June 2006 Nicholson Kovac, Kansas City, MO, announces it has joined Worldwide Partners Inc., the world's largest international marketing communications network. The group is comprised of 70 agenices with 97 offices in 35 countries with more than 1,200 clients and billings in excess of $3.4 billion. Filament Marketing, LLC an-nounces Christina Jorgensen has joined the firm as managing director and will be responsible for strategic marketing plan development and implementation for the firm's key dairy and livestock clients. Prior to joining Filament she was an acct exec with Bader Rutter & Associates on several key agricultural accounts, and has marketing communications experience in the domestic and international marketplaces with Select Sires and Alta Genetics. Margie Albrecht joins Charleston|Orwig (C|O) as an acct supr responsible for managing several of the Pfizer Animal Health products, including Bovi-Shield GOLD and CattleMaster GOLD brands as well as SelectVAC, Pfizer's preshipment health program. Albrecht previously worked at a Milwaukee-based communications agency where she supervised several agriculture accounts. Amy Graff joins C|O as a sr acct exec, providing account management and strategic planning for the Pfizer Swine account. Graff has held acct sup roles at two Milwaukee-based agencies, managing accounts in the healthcare, outdoor recreation and commercial fixtures industries. Also at C|O, Gail Hotz is named sr admin asst at on the agency's issues management team and is responsible for account coordination for Smithfield Foods, Inc., Applebee's, PPL Corporation and Miller Brewing Company. Hotz comes to C|O from a Milwaukee-based communications agency where she was an account svcs asst and research admin asst for the company's marketing and research department. McCormick Company, Kansas City, MO, announces a strategic partnership with Marston Webb International to provide media placement and public relations services for its clients on a worldwide basis. This expands the agency's international capabilities following the opening of its Canadian office in 2005. E.W. McDaniels Marketing Communications, Pekin, IL, celebrates 40 years of business in 2006. As part of the celebration, the company launches a new name — McDaniels Marketing Communications — and an updated logo. "Dropping the initials will make the name easier to remember and say," states Randall McDaniels, pres, McDaniels Marketing Communications. Also at Rhea & Kaiser, Pat Arthur has been promoted to mgt supvsr and will manage the Bayer CropScience corn and soybean portfolio communications and branding. He is also the general manager of the Rhea & Kaiser Durham, NC, office. Katie Kaiser is promoted to sr acct exec. She works on the day-to-day account management, plan integration and financial responsibilities for the Pfizer Animal Health REVOLUTION account. Bill Pool joins Adculture as vp client services. Pool's experience includes American Cyanamid and Cargill's Seeds Business Group. Most recently, he was co-owner and exec vp of business development for Technekes LLC, a data services and data management company. Also at AdCulture, Sarah Kellermann joins the agency as asst acct exec. Agricultural marketing and communications company, AdFarm, Calgary, AB, was ranked third in Canadian Business magazine's 2006 list of the "Best Workplaces in Canada."
